Professionals involved actively in economics publish their articles in the Journal to express their views on the economy and current affairs. As The Hong Kong Economic Journal mainly focuses on reporting government policies and financial news, entertainment plays a minor role in it. The style it adopts is completely different from other newspapers in Hong Kong. Unlike the tabloid-like newspapers, the HKEJ reports its news mainly by words and truth. According to these subject matters, the Hong Kong Economic Journal simply doesn’t sell as well as some popular local newspapers, but counts on its own credibility.
